Job Description We are seeking an Oracle PL/SQL Developer who has worked on development projects and possesses a deep understanding of advanced PL/SQL concepts. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Performance Tuning, particularly on huge databases in the tune of Terabytes (TB). You will be responsible for developing robust and efficient PL/SQL code, optimizing database performance, and ensuring the scalability of our Oracle-based applications. Key Responsibilities - PL/SQL Development: Design, develop, and implement complex PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, and triggers for new and existing applications. - Advanced PL/SQL Concepts: Apply advanced PL/SQL concepts to build efficient, modular, and reusable database components. - Performance Tuning: Conduct comprehensive Performance Tuning on SQL queries and PL/SQL code, especially in environments with huge databases in the tune of TBs, to optimize database response times and resource utilization. - Development Projects: Work on end-to-end development projects, from requirements analysis to deployment and support. - Database Optimization: Identify and resolve database performance bottlenecks, suggesting and implementing effective solutions. - Collaboration: Collaborate with application developers, data architects, and other team members to ensure seamless integration and optimal database design. - Code Quality: Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices and coding standards. Required Skills and Experience - Proven experience as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer on development projects. - Strong understanding and application of advanced PL/SQL concepts. - Demonstrated experience in Performance Tuning, specifically on huge databases (in the tune of TBs). - Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries. - Solid understanding of relational database design and normalization. - Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex database issues.
