We are now seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Fragrance Evaluator to join our core team and contribute to developing olfactory experiences that align with our vision and market needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate fragrance submissions from perfumers, suppliers, and internal development teams.
- Test and compare fragrances against industry benchmarks and competitors (both Indian & international).
- Provide detailed feedback on scent profile, balance, projection, longevity, and compatibility with brand identity.
- Work closely with the founder and product development team to assess which fragrances are best suited for launch.
- Maintain olfactory notes and evaluation records for ongoing development and research.
- Assist in building an internal fragrance archive and reference library.
- Stay updated on market trends, new launches, and consumer preferences in the Indian and global fragrance industry.
- Contribute to the creation of fragrance briefs and product positioning in line with EM5's creative direction.

Requirements:

- Prior experience in fragrance evaluation, olfactory training, or a strong background in perfumery (formal education is a plus, but not mandatory).
- Excellent olfactory memory and ability to articulate scent characteristics clearly.
- Knowledge of fragrance families, raw materials, and formulation basics.
- Familiarity with Indian and international fragrance brands and trends.
- Passion for perfumery, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in working with fragrance houses or cosmetic/FMCG brands.
- Understanding of Indian olfactory preferences and cultural scent associations.
