b The dental assistant works closely with dentists and dental hygienists to assist in providing quality dental care to patients This role involves various clinical and administrative tasks to ensure efficient and effective clinic operations Patient Care Assist dentists and hygienists during dental procedures including but not limited to cleanings fillings extractions and root canals Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures ensuring all instruments and materials are sterilized and organized Comfort patients by explaining procedures addressing concerns and providing support during treatments Take and develop dental x-rays as directed by the dentist Infection Control Adhere to strict infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff Sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to established guidelines Dispose of hazardous materials in compliance with OSHA regulations Working Conditions Dental assistants typically work in clean well-lit dental offices or clinics They may spend long periods standing and may be exposed to potentially hazardous materials Some evening or weekend hours may be required depending on the clinic s hours of operation Job Type Full-timePay From xe2 x82 xb914 000 00 per monthBenefits Provident FundSchedule Day shiftSupplemental pay types Overtime payPerformance bonusExperience total work 1 year Preferred Work Location In person
