We work with schools, colleges, and institutions to promote hands-on learning and future-ready skills.
Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant with 1 to 3 years of experience to handle day-to-day financial operations. This is a full-time, on-site role based at our Gandhinagar office.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries and financial records.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, billing, and payment tracking.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory filings and returns.
- Assist in monthly closing, financial reporting, and data entry.
- Prepare vouchers, invoices, receipts, and related documents.
- Help with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
- Coordinate with CA, auditors, and government authorities as needed.
- Maintain and organize accounting documents, files, and backups.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com, M.Com, etc.)
- 13 years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in Tally ERP, Zoho Books, or similar software
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting practices
- Good command over MS Excel (basic formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in a startup, EdTech, or educational company is a plus
- Knowledge of income tax, payroll basics, and compliance deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Good communication and coordination skills
