What will you do? - Day-to-Day Accounting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in Zoho Books, including journal entries, payments, receipts, and bank transactions. - Reconciliations & Closures: Perform monthly bank and vendor reconciliations. Support month-end and year-end financial closure activities. - Taxation & Compliance: Prepare and file GST (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and TDS returns. Assist in internal and statutory audits by providing necessary documentation and data. - Financial Reporting: Support the finance team in preparing profit & loss statements, balance sheets, MIS reports, budget vs actuals, and cash flow analysis. - Coordination & Support: Liaise with banks, auditors, vendors, and internal teams. Maintain financial documentation and support other finance-related tasks as assigned. Expected Deliverables: - Quick Task Closure: Develop the ability to complete financial tasks efficiently and accurately. Contribute to faster financial reporting and reconciliation cycles. - Process Innovation: Identify areas in accounting operations that can be streamlined or improved and propose practical solutions. - Proactive Ownership: Take initiative in financial operations and contribute actively to improving internal processes and controls. Requirements: - Manage accounting entries and daily bookkeeping in Zoho Books. - Ensure timely GST and TDS filings and support during audits. - Prepare financial reports and assist in monthly reconciliations. - Liaise with stakeholders including vendors, banks, and auditors. - Support compliance, documentation, and financial record-keeping. Key Competencies - Ownership & Accountability - Adaptability & Learning Agility - Process & Budget Adherence - Documentation & Reporting - Analytical & Communication Skills Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting and has at least 1 year of experience in accounting roles such as Accounts Associate or Finance Executive. Experience in finance/accounting services or structured finance teams is preferred. Familiarity with tools like Zoho Books is a plus. We’re looking for someone detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing day-to-day accounting tasks with accuracy and ownership.
