Role: General Medicine Consultant (MD/DNB) On-site (Bhiti, Ramnagar, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India) Role & Responsibilities - Provide high-quality outpatient and inpatient medical consultations, delivering accurate diagnosis and evidence-based treatment plans for adult patients. - Manage acute medical emergencies and coordinate resuscitation efforts in the emergency department and ward settings. - Oversee inpatient care plans, admissions, discharges, and multidisciplinary coordination for continuity of care. - Interpret routine investigations (ECG, basic labs, radiology) and perform point-of-care assessments to guide clinical decision-making. - Prescribe and manage pharmacotherapy safely, maintain accurate medical records, and ensure compliance with hospital protocols. - Participate in clinical governance activities including audit, case review, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives. Skills & Qualifications Essential Qualifications - MD or DNB in General Medicine (or equivalent) and current registration with the appropriate State Medical Council.
