Maintenance Technician role based on your specifications qualification ITI Diploma B Tech in Electrical Mechanical Welding experience in maintenance salary 25 000-30 000 month overtime Job Title Maintenance Technician Location Kannur Employment Type Full-Time Salary 25 000 - 30 000 per month plus overtime Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to carry out maintenance repair and servicing of equipment machinery and infrastructure The ideal candidate should have a technical background in Electrical Mechanical or Welding with hands-on experience in industrial or facility maintenance Key Responsibilities Perform regular preventive and breakdown maintenance on machinery and equipment Troubleshoot electrical mechanical and welding-related issues Conduct inspections to identify wear and tear and carry out necessary repairs Maintain electrical panels motors gearboxes pumps compressors and welding equipment Respond to maintenance requests from departments and resolve issues promptly Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities Ensure safety protocols and standard operating procedures SOPs are followed at all times Assist in installation of new machinery or equipment Report and escalate major repair needs to the Maintenance Supervisor Manager Coordinate with external service providers if required Required Qualifications ITI Diploma B Tech in Electrical Mechanical or Welding Minimum 1-3 years of experience in maintenance plant facility or equipment Good understanding of safety practices tools and equipment used in maintenance Preferred Skills Knowledge of basic electrical wiring motor control and mechanical systems Experience with welding and fabrication is a plus Ability to read technical diagrams wiring schematics and instruction manuals Familiarity with basic computer operations for logging maintenance records Working Conditions Physically fit and able to lift tools climb ladders and work in confined spaces May require working in shifts weekends or on-call duty during breakdowns Work environment may include industrial noise dust heat or outdoor conditions Benefits Competitive salary with overtime pay Statutory benefits PF ESI etc as applicable Opportunity for skill development and training Uniforms and safety gear provided Job Type Full-time Pay 25 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Provident Fund Education Diploma Preferred Experience Electrical mechanical welder 4 years Preferred Work Location In person
