Company OverviewEstablished in 1927 by Sheth Anandilal Podar Podar Education Group has from the very beginning been focused driven and motivated by the traditional Indian values of honesty integrity and service With over 95 years of experience within the educational space Podar group is now a network of 139 educational institutions spread across the nation with a combined student strength of more than 2 00 000 and the support of 7 800 dedicated and loyal staff members Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sports Teacher for a full-time junior-level position at our Bangalore Urban location The successful candidate will have 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience and will be responsible for providing physical education instruction and sports coaching fostering team spirit and promoting health and fitness among students Qualifications and Skills Proven experience in Physical Education Instruction Mandatory skill Proficient in Sports Coaching Mandatory skill Strong in Athletic Training Mandatory skill Excellent Team Building abilities to create a healthy team environment Effective Communication Skills to interact with students parents and staff Capability in Lesson Planning to prepare comprehensive sports curriculums Motivational Skills to inspire and encourage students to participate in sports Knowledge of Sports Psychology to understand and improve student performance Roles and Responsibilities Plan and conduct physical education lessons for students focusing on physical fitness skills development and teamwork Coach school sports teams organizing practice sessions and overseeing competitions Supervise students during physical activities ensuring their safety and well-being Evaluate and track student progress providing feedback to help them improve Maintain sports equipment and ensure it is used correctly and safely Promote the importance of a healthy lifestyle and regular physical activity among students Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to coordinate extracurricular sports activities and events Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in sports education and training
