Job Description Job Title: Videographer Location: Chandigarh University, Mohali Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: Chandigarh University is seeking a creative and skilled Videographer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for capturing high-quality images and videos for various university events, promotional materials, and digital content. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong storytelling skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with faculty, students, and administration. Key Responsibilities: - Photography: - Capture high-resolution photographs for university events, workshops, seminars, and student activities. - Document campus life, including academic programs, extracurricular activities, and community engagement. - Edit and retouch images for use in marketing materials, social media, and the university website. - Videography: - Plan, shoot, and edit video content for promotional purposes, including interviews, event highlights, and campus tours. - Collaborate with departments to produce video materials that effectively communicate university initiatives and achievements. - Ensure all video content aligns with the university's branding and messaging guidelines. - Content Management: - Organize and maintain a digital archive of photographs and videos. - Assist in the development of a content calendar for visual storytelling across university platforms. - Collaboration: - Work closely with the marketing and communications team to support various projects and campaigns. - Attend university events and activities to capture engaging content. - Equipment Management: - Maintain and manage photography and videography equipment, ensuring all gear is in good working condition. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Photography, Film, Multimedia, or a related field. - Proven experience in photography and videography, preferably in an educational or similar setting. - Proficiency in photo and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro). - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - A creative mindset with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work. Preferred Skills: - Knowledge of lighting techniques and audio recording. - Experience with drone photography/videography. - Familiarity with social media platforms and content trends.
