Job Description - Leadership & Team Management: - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA Engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, high performance, and accountability. - Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and career development planning for team members. - Act as a technical escalation point for the team, providing guidance and problem-solving support. - Champion best practices in testing methodologies and quality assurance across the team. - Technical Skills - Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust, scalable, and reliable automated test frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript. - Drive the integration of automated tests into the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline. - Monitor, analyze, and report on automation test results, identifying trends and areas for improvement. - Stay abreast of the latest developments in Playwright and TypeScript ecosystems, advocating for upgrades and new features where beneficial. - Implement strategies for effective test data management within automation frameworks. - Hands-on experience integrating automated test suites into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines. - Stakeholder Management & Communication: - Collaborate effectively with product managers to understand requirements and translate them into robust test scenarios. - Innovation & Process Improvement: - Demonstrate a strong flair for innovation: Proactively research, evaluate, and implement new testing tools, technologies, and methodologies (e.g., AI/ML in testing, shift-left/shift-right strategies, performance monitoring tools). - Establish and track key quality metrics and KPIs, using data to inform decisions and report on the overall health of the product. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. - 5+ years of progressive experience in QA, with at least 2+ years in a lead or managerial role, responsible for direct reports. - Expert-level proficiency in developing and maintaining automated test frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript. - Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, specifically integrating and managing automated tests within Azure DevOps. - Deep understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes within an Agile/Scrum environment. - Proven ability to strategize, plan, and execute testing for complex software systems. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Demonstrated ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor a team.
