Piping Draughtsman

Job Description JOB Summary - We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Piping Draftsman with 410 years of hands-on expertise in 2D and 3D drafting for industrial piping systems. - The ideal candidate will be proficient in preparing detailed piping layouts, isometric drawings, and equipment arrangements for oil & gas, petrochemical, or water treatment projects. - This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams. Responsibilities - Develop and revise 2D piping layouts, isometric drawings, and 3D models using AutoCAD, Plant 3D, E3D or equivalent software. - Interpret P&IDs, piping specifications, and equipment datasheets to generate accurate drawings. - Coordinate with process, mechanical, and civil teams to ensure design consistency and clash-free layouts. - Ensure compliance with industry standards (ASME, ANSI, API) and project-specific requirements. - Conduct site visits or reviews to verify as-built conditions and incorporate field changes. - Maintain drawing documentation and revision control in accordance with project procedures. - Support engineers during design reviews and respond to redline markups and client comments. Technical And Industry Experience - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, PDMS, SP3D, or similar CAD platforms. - Strong understanding of piping components, materials, and fabrication practices. - Familiarity with piping codes and standards (ASME B31.3, API, ISO). - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents. - Excellent communication and team collaboration skills. Skills & Requirements - Bachelors in Mechanical or equivalent. - 810 years of experience in piping design and drafting. - Good knowledge of CAD software tools - Problem solving skills. - Knowledge of integration between process units.
