Against this backdrop, the Global One IT has a mandate from the executive board to lead the technology transformation of our client. Job Description - Lead the design, development, and deployment of Java-based applications. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions. - Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of software systems. - Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards across the team. - Mentor and guide junior team members to enhance their technical skills. - Identify and resolve technical challenges promptly and effectively. - Stay updated on emerging technologies and assess their potential for implementation. - Prepare and maintain technical documentation for future reference. The Successful Applicant A successful Java Tech Lead should have: - A strong educational background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Proficiency in Java programming and related frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate. - Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. - Knowledge of database systems, including both SQL and NoSQL. - Expertise in version control tools such as Git. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - The ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities effectively.
