Job Description

Key responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day activities of the dispatch department.

Assign delivery routes and schedules to drivers.

Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely pick-up and delivery of goods.

Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and customer service, to optimize delivery processes

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery documents.

Monitor the route and status of field units to coordinate and prioritize their schedule.

Provide field units with information about orders, traffic, obstacles and requirements.

Enter data in the computer system and maintain logs and records of calls, activities and other information.

* Proven experience as a Despatch Executive.
