Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive and motivated SEO Intern to join our digital marketing team. This role is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and gain hands-on experience in search engine optimization. As an SEO Intern, you will work closely with our team to implement strategies that enhance website performance, drive organic traffic, and improve search engine rankings.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Assist in performing on-page and off-page SEO activities under the guidance of the SEO team.
- Conduct keyword research and basic competitor analysis using tools like Google Keyword Planner and SEMrush.
- Support link-building efforts by identifying opportunities and generating backlinks.
- Help optimize website content, meta tags, and internal linking for better rankings.
- Participate in performing website audits to ensure compliance with SEO best practices.
- Monitor and analyze website traffic and performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Collaborate with the content and web development teams to align SEO strategies with business goals.
- Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry developments.
- Prepare reports on SEO performance metrics, traffic, and rankings.

Skills and Competencies

- Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: A basic understanding of SEO concepts and familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush is a plus.
- Eagerness to Learn: Passion for SEO and digital marketing with a strong desire to build a career in the field.
- Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret basic data and identify insights.
- Team Player: Willingness to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
