Structural Stress Engineer - Rolling Stock Looking for a highly skilled Structural Engineer with strong expertise in Static Linear Non-Linear and Dynamic Modal Transient Random Harmonic analyses as well as Fatigue Damage and Life Estimation for Rolling Stock structural design The role involves performing advanced simulations preparing detailed engineering reports and ensuring compliance with relevant rail standards and quality processes Key Responsibilities Perform Static Linear and Non-Linear structural analyses to evaluate strength stiffness and load response Conduct Dynamic Modal Transient Random and Harmonic analyses to assess vibration behavior and dynamic performance Carry out Fatigue Damage and Life Estimation calculations for structural integrity over service life Utilize Hypermesh for model preparation and meshing and OptiStruct for structural analysis and optimization Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design robustness and manufacturability Prepare and deliver engineering reports technical documentation and calculation notes in accordance with rail industry standards and quality procedures Review results interpret findings and provide design recommendations for improvements in durability safety and performance Support continuous improvement initiatives in structural analysis methods simulation workflows and process automation Required Skills and Experience Bachelor s or Master s degree in Mechanical Proven experience in Static Dynamic and Fatigue structural analysis for rolling stock or similar heavy engineering applications Hands-on expertise with Hypermesh for meshing and OptiStruct for analysis Strong understanding of rail standards structural integrity requirements and fatigue life assessment methodologies Excellent technical writing reporting and documentation skills Familiarity with quality management systems and engineering documentation standards Department Transportation India Associate Skills Required Optistruct Hypermesh FEA CAE Years Of Exp 2 to 4 Years Designation Associate
