Sound Engineer - BrandingCompany Name Rawalwasia Textile Industries Pvt Ltd Job Title Sound Audio EngineerHours Full-timeLocation Surat GujaratJob PurposeThe Audio Engineer will create edit and enhance audio recordings ensuring high-quality sound production for live events and studio projects The Audio Engineer will work closely with clients and team members to ensure all audio deliverables meet specified requirements deadlines and technical standards This role demands a keen ear for sound strong technical skills and the ability to work in high-pressure environments while maintaining professionalism Job Duties Understanding client briefs Interpret and understand the audio requirements of each project based on client specifications Set up and maintain equipment Select install and ensure the proper functioning of sound and mixing equipment in the studio or at event locations Audio recording and mixing Capture manipulate and mix live and recorded audio to meet project standards Fix and enhance sound quality Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with audio equipment and adjust the sound quality for live and recorded events Collaborate with teams Work closely with clients producers artists and other technical teams e g video lighting to ensure sound quality aligns with the overall production goals Create and maintain sound libraries Build a catalogue of high-quality sound effects ensuring easy access and organisation for future projects Stay updated on industry trends Continuously seek new methods tools and technologies that enhance sound production and engineering techniques Provide client support Regularly communicate with clients to ensure satisfaction adjust to feedback and meet project deadlines Train and mentor junior staff Offer guidance and training to less experienced or junior audio engineers Ensure safety and compliance Set up equipment safely and adhere to all health and safety standards for studio and live environments Required QualificationsKnowledge Extensive understanding of modern audio recording editing and mixing techniques Knowledge of sound equipment such as mixers microphones equalisers amplifiers and audio editing software like Pro Tools Skills Technical proficiency Sound manipulation Creative input Time management Equipment Maintenance Live Sound Mixing Attributes Attention to detail Calm under pressure Customer-focused Self-starter Professionalism Education High school diploma required Certification in Audio Engineering Sound Technology or a related field is highly recommended Experience Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in audio engineering or sound production preferably in a studio or live event setting Proven track record of successfully working with sound recording mixing and editing software Familiarity with industry-standard software like Pro Tools Logic Pro or Ableton Live Expertise in handling sound mixing consoles microphones and sound effects equipment A collaborative team player with a growth mindset Strong problem-solving abilities and technical troubleshooting skills High level of professionalism and dedication to delivering superior sound quality Number of Vacancies 1
