Job Description

Role Overview

As a Phalcon Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the Phalcon PHP framework. You will work closely with the development team to create efficient and scalable web solutions that meet project requirements and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop web applications and websites using the Phalcon PHP framework, ensuring high performance and security
- Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards
- Design and implement database schemas, interact with databases using Phalcon's ORM, and optimize database queries
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user interfaces with back-end functionality
- Conduct unit testing, identify and resolve bugs, and perform debugging to ensure application reliability
- Continuously monitor and optimize applications for speed, scalability, and efficiency
- Implement security measures against common vulnerabilities (SQL injection, XSS, CSRF, etc.)
- Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage code repositories and collaborate with team members
- Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials
- Work closely with designers, front-end developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality applications

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience as a Phalcon Developer or PHP Developer with strong willingness to learn Phalcon
- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL (or other relational databases), HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with MVC architecture and Phalcon's MVC framework
- Experience with RESTful API development and integration
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of web security best practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills

- Experience with other PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony)
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js)
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
