We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Business Process Analyst In This Role, You Will - This position is responsible for Business Analysis aspect of projects under Product Solutions, from initiation to delivery, working with Project/ Programme Manager, Work stream leads and other Product Solutions BAs. - The Senior Business Analyst's change management activities span from early change planning and audience analysis; through to designing and delivering change interventions (e.g. communications, training, support, organisation alignment); and tracking and taking actions on change readiness, adoption, and feedback. - Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs. - Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyse information needs and functional requirements and deliver artefacts as needed. - Utilise experience in using enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systems and methodologies required - Establish architectural standards, best practices, and documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to performance bottlenecks and long-term sustainability - Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of existing processes and identify any gaps or shortcomings. - Participate in enterprise risk assessments and develop risk aversion measures - Must be a strong communicator both verbal and written with a comprehensive understanding of content and context. - Displays good presentation skills and can tailor communication methods for the audience, environment and setting. Ability to summarize large data set into meaningful innovative representations. To Be Successful You Will - Demonstrated experience in business analysis roles or equivalent experience in large scale operational change - Proven ability to influence, negotiate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels across cross-geographical teams. - Competent in Operating Model Design, Data Analysis, User Documentation, Solution Design, Solution Validation and Root Cause Analysis - Proficient in Impact Assessment/Gap Analysis, Business Requirements gathering, Process Mapping and Process Design - Exposure to different project/portfolio types/clients ideally with experience of complex business and IT transformation. - Hands on knowledge of using project management tools (e.g Visio, Project Planner, JIRA, Confluence, etc) - Comfortable leading workshops i.e. to identify risks and dependencies, build a project or programme plan or identify and plan benefits. - Desired formal PPM certifications such as PMO or Prince2, Agile Methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe 5.0) Hsbc.Com/Careers You'll achieve more at HSBC HSBC is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
