Job Description The Impact You'll Make We are seeking a Supply Chain Leader with a strong growth mindset to oversee logistics and warehouse operations across the India region. The role focuses on driving continuous improvement, enhancing efficiency, and delivering high service levels while managing logistics, inventory, transportation, and compliance. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, analytical capability, and a passion for developing teams and scaling operations through innovation and automation What You'll Be Doing - Lead the SC function for the Danfoss in the India region to ensure the best-in-class provision of logistical services to customers and internal stakeholders. - Leads the organization's Performance Improvement plan and Operational Efficiency initiatives, ensuring a data-driven and results oriented approach that supports successful execution of company strategic objectives. - Strategically plan Logistics, warehouse, Picking, packing, transportation, and customer services - Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets - Organize inventories to design more efficient space usage and material flow through the manufacturing process - Monitor the overall performance of the team to ensure compliance with EH&S and Quality (ISO requirements) and logistics policies and procedures. - Lead the hiring, supervise, coach and Mentor warehouse workforce - Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control - Review existing processes across warehouse operations and develop strategies to improve processes and reduce costs. Inspire a culture of continuous improvement across the logistics function. - Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements. - Drive Warehouse Automation Projects to improve efficiency - Manage logistics services providers to ensure performance in accordance with agreed KPIs. - Provide inputs to the budgeting process, monitor and control costs within budget constraints. - Maintain the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements - Strong business understanding, interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills - Ability to motivate, maintain and develop an effective team What We're Looking For - Bachelor's degree with 5 - 8 years of strong experience in Warehouse, Transportation & Distribution operations - Strong system proficiency in SAP, WMS, MS Office, etc - Warehouse Automation, Layout design, Distribution footprint study, Logistics Cost down projects, Inventory Migration, multi-site operational exposure & implementation experiences are preferred - Strong business understanding, interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills - Proven administrative, leadership skills and management experience - Ability to motivate, maintain and develop an effective team Ready to Make a Difference If this role excites you, we'd love to hear from you Apply now to start the conversation and learn more about where your career can go with us. ---------------------------------------- All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or other protected category.
