Role Description - ON-SITE ONLY (THOSE WHO ARE LOOKING FOR WORK FROM HOME NEED NOT APPLY) There are full-time and on-site role for a Tax Accountants and Bookkeepers located in Bengaluru. The Tax Accountant will be responsible for ensuring tax compliance, preparing and filing tax returns, managing tax-related issues, and preparing financial statements. The bookkeepers will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely completion of all the accounting areas such as daily bank entries, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivables, monthly closure of account and preparing monthly reports. The candidate will also handle various accounting tasks to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with statutory requirements. Qualifications Skills in Tax Compliance, Tax Preparation, and managing Tax-related matters Competence in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements Strong Accounting skills Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance Professional certification such as CA, CMA, CPA or equivalent would be of great advantage Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru Previous experience in a similar role is desirable Proficiency in financial software such as QuickBooks, Xero, MYOB, Class Super, BGL, MS Office, etc. Strong time-management skills and ability to work to tight deadlines Responsibilities Bookkeeping and Payroll processing. Compile and analyze year-end financial statements Prepare ad-hoc reports for various business needs Preparation of tax return for various entities viz. SMSF, Trust, Company, Partnerships and Individuals. Preparation of GST return (Activity Statements) Preparation of FBT return. Periodical cash flow projection and tax planning
