Job Description Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain network architecture, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices. - Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring high availability and scalability. - Troubleshoot network issues, identify root causes, and implement effective resolutions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess network requirements and recommend enhancements or upgrades. - Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls. - Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend necessary adjustments. - Collaborate with the security team to develop and enforce network security policies and procedures. - Maintain accurate network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and processes. - Prepare regular reports on network performance, outages, and improvement opportunities. - Update network documentation as changes and upgrades are implemented. - Utilize network monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve network issues. - Analyze network traffic patterns and optimize network configurations for improved performance. - Implement network traffic management strategies to ensure efficient data flow and minimize congestion. - Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their network requirements and provide technical guidance. - Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers for network-related projects and support. - Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing timely updates on network-related activities. Requirements: - Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role. - Strong knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP). - Experience with network equipment and technologies from leading vendors (Cisco, Juniper, etc.). - Familiarity with network security concepts and best practices. - Proficiency in network troubleshooting and diagnostic tools. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong documentation and reporting abilities. - Effective communication and collaboration skills.
