Eligibility Criteria (As per AICTE / HPTU / UGC Guidelines) Educational Qualifications: - Ph.D. degree in Engineering or Technology in a relevant discipline. - First class at Bachelor’s (B.E./B.Tech.) and Master’s (M.E./M.Tech.) levels in Engineering/Technology from a recognized university. Experience: - Minimum 15 years of experience in teaching/research/industry, out of which at least 3 years shall be at the level of Professor in a recognized institution. - Demonstrated academic leadership, administrative capability, and contribution to curriculum design, R&D, or accreditation processes. Desirable: - Active participation in HPTU academic bodies, NAAC/NBA accreditation processes, and institutional development projects. - Proven record of research guidance, publications, patents, or consultancy. Key Responsibilities - Provide strategic academic and administrative leadership in line with HPTU and AICTE norms. - Lead curriculum implementation, research, and faculty development across all engineering departments. - Ensure compliance with HPTU academic regulations, AICTE norms, and quality-assurance standards. - Foster a culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, and interdisciplinary learning. - Supervise student performance, placements, and institutional outreach initiatives. - Coordinate with HPTU, AICTE, and other regulatory authorities for inspections, reporting, and accreditation. - Promote collaboration with industry and research organizations for experiential learning and knowledge exchange.
