Job Summary RESPONSIBILITIES The ETL Design and Development will be responsible for CCIB DCDA BI Reporting projects on-premises on-cloud with good technical knowledge on big data and Tools Good exposure in problem solving stakeholder management skills This role will report into the Lead for ETL Reporting and product development team in CCIB DCDA 8 to 12 years Experience of working in data analytical ETL Design Development projects Expertise in tools like Informatica Talend SSIS DataStage and custom Python-based ETL frameworks Must know Programming skills like ETL using Hadoop Python SQL Shell scripting PySpark Scoop Scala SQL Expertise in writing complex queries performance tuning query optimization Data Modelling of Star Snowflake schema slowly changing dimensions normalization denormalization Expertise in the Big Data Ecosystem like Hive Spark HDFS or working knowledge of Hadoop-based environments Soft Skills like Strong communication and stakeholder managemen Strategy The ideal candidate is highly organized action-oriented hands on and accomplished in the development and deployment of BI tools solutions using multiple BI tools Candidate must have a result-oriented approach towards problem solving Candidate must be hands on experience with Tableau topology design and deployment conversant with application architecture for embedding Tableau in external applications application integration and use of BI and Data processing tools in a complex environment with Data Security User Access Managed Authorization and tightly controlled environment which deploys modern authentication mechanisms used in large organizations Candidates should have a basic understanding of the networking and application deployment criteria associated with deployment of web based and mobile applications Candidate should be flexible to work on various areas in BI Tools Data Management Platforms within BICOE remit on Premises on Cloud stack In this role he she will be expected to acquire a deep technical understanding of the BI Tools stack MicroStrategy Tableau etc Any knowledge and hands on capabilities with scripting languages like Python Java Linux Windows scripting or hands on knowledge of application monitoring tools will be a plus point Any previous experience of developing products or applications based on integration with BI Tools like MicroStrategy will be a plus point Key Responsibilities Regulatory Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group s Values and Code of Conduct Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics including regulatory and business conduct across Standard Chartered Bank This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with in letter and spirit all applicable laws regulations guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct Lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank s Conduct Principles Effectively and collaboratively identify escalate mitigate and resolve risk conduct and compliance matters Other Responsibilities BI Tools like MicroStrategy Power BI Tableau Programming skills like Python Scala or Java for custom ETL and automation Good to know Cloud Platforms like AWS Glue Redshift S3 Lambda Azure Data Factory Synapse or GCP Dataflow BigQuery Data Visualization Reporting like Tableau Power BI Looker Workflow Orchestration like Apache Airflow Control-M or similar schedulers API Integration like REST SOAP APIs for ingesting or pushing data Very good verbal and written communication skills Hands-on experience in API testing developing automation test script for mobile or tablet devices using Appium Good understanding of Linux operating system and hands on work experience in Linux operating system is desirable Ability to identify new testing techniques and tools Excellent problem-solving skills Excellent team player and exhibit a positive attitude Strong collaboration oral and written skills Good exposure to migration from MSTR to Tableau or working with data accelerations tools like Dremio Exasol or Data processing tools like DataIku Upgrade of tools to latest version for maximum business impact Tools Usability Tracking Reportin Skills Abilities and Knowledge Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner with a broad range of technical and non-technical users and stakeholders Proactive and focused on results and success conveys a sense of urgency and drives issues to closure Should be a team player and leader flexible
