Job Description Position title:R&D Manager Locations:Jaipur/Gurgaon Reporting to:Business Head Education:Graduate with relevant experience. Roles and Responsibilities The candidate will be responsible for - Develop product formulations for our Health and Nutrition business for both domestic and overseas markets. - Responsible to bring and develop new concepts /products / new solutions to customers/market by understanding market trends,customer expectations. - Work on continuous product improvements both on process and cost efficiencies. - Setting up the R&D Facility for the Food Nutrition business - Support production and QA/QC in case of troubleshooting and resolving customer complaints. - Optimizing the NPD from Concept to Finalisation for the Nutrition Facts, Sensory Evaluation, Shelf Life Study, and other Product Claims. - Need to work closely with the Marketing and Sales team (B2B and B2C) and understand their requirement, develop the prototype product as per Specs/Benchmark product and conduct the trial evaluation. - Understanding of regulatory compliance (FSSAI, FDA, USDA, Vegan, Organic & Various industry standards) - Implementation of Food Labelling as per Regulations - Lead the Quality Assurance for the business and lay the process of GMP, HACCP, TQM & other quality assurance systems for setting up a processing plant. Qualification & Experience - Bachelor/Master's Degree in Food Technology / Pharma - About 8-12years of hands-on relevant experience in R&D / NPD, QA & Food Safety in the Food / Nutrition Industry. - Hand-on experience in taking products from Lab to Pilot to Commercial Production.
