Job Summary The Senior Quality Engineer is responsible for leading and managing quality assurance initiatives across the production line to ensure compliance with customer requirements industry standards and internal quality policies The role demands extensive knowledge of automotive quality systems problem-solving skills and hands-on experience with process and product audits APQP PPAP and root cause analysis Key Responsibilities Lead and execute quality plans and strategies for incoming in-process and final inspection of automotive components Manage customer complaints and ensure timely resolution through root cause analysis and implementation of corrective preventive actions CAPA Oversee and support the implementation of APQP FMEA PPAP MSA and SPC in alignment with IATF 16949 standards Conduct internal and supplier audits and participate in external customer audits Monitor quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives Lean Six Sigma Kaizen Liaise with cross-functional teams including Design Production and Supply Chain to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance Maintain and improve Quality Management Systems QMS and documentation Train and mentor junior quality engineers and shop floor personnel on quality tools and practices Evaluate and approve supplier quality systems and performance Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Automobile Industrial Engineering or equivalent 8-10 years of experience in a quality function in the automotive components industry Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 ISO 9001 ISO 14001 standards Proficient in quality tools such as APQP PPAP FMEA MSA SPC 8D 5 Whys and Fishbone analysis Hands-on experience with CMM Vernier Micrometer and other measurement equipment Familiarity with customer portals such as VW Ford GM or similar is a plus Excellent problem-solving analytical and communication skills Proficient in MS Office and quality management software e g SAP Q-DAS Minitab Preferred Certifications Certified Six Sigma Green Black Belt Lead Auditor - IATF 16949 ISO 9001 Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 20 000 00 - 60 000 00 per month Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Health insurance Paid sick time Provident Fund Schedule Day shift Fixed shift Morning shift Supplemental Pay Performance bonus Yearly bonus Experience Manufacturing plant 8 years Required Work Location In person
