Position at Confluent India Private Limited With Confluent organisations can harness the full power of continuously flowing data to innovate and win in the modern digital world We have a purpose that drives us to do better everyday - we re creating an entirely new category within data infrastructure - data streaming This technology will allow every organisation to create experiences and use the power of data in ways that profoundly impact the way we all live This impact is our purpose and drives us to do better every day One Confluent One team One Data Streaming Platform Data Connects Us About the Role Confluent runs and supports many of the largest data streaming deployments in the world on behalf of our customers Real time Observability and monitoring capabilities are critical to ensure that our customers are successful in using our services at scale to build and run their mission critical applications Customers need contextual metrics notifications and alerting for their data streams and applications for a range of use cases including operational monitoring capacity planning billing charge-back and several others Additionally Confluent operators need visibility into customer deployments to ensure the highest levels of reliability scalability and product performance As a Senior Product Manager for Observability you will play a crucial role in defining the product vision for Observability and will help define the product strategy roadmap product definition execution and go-to-market support to launch new capabilities and drive adoption What You Will Do Contribute to the product strategy Align observability investments with Confluent s long term vision to put a data streaming platform at the center of every organization Help define the roadmap and drive execution Plot a course with your engineering counterparts that will realize the strategy Understand our users Conduct interviews and analyze usage data to define personas user journeys and key jobs to be done Work across teams Create shared understanding and direction across engineering product business development support sales and marketing teams within Confluent and externally with our partners Shape the full product lifecycle Drive product initiatives from conception through initial delivery and ongoing iteration after launch Close the loop Define quantitative and qualitative targets measure performance against them share results with stakeholders and incorporate those learnings into the next development cycle Manage complexity Deliver value while handling the surprises and challenges of a quickly evolving product ambitious partnership targets and a rapidly growing organization What You Will Bring 4 years of product management experience Experience in being a product manager for a cloud based service IaaS PaaS SaaS that has seen adoption at scale by customers Experience building writing and defending a clear product roadmap and backlog backed by user stories and customer research Excellent communication skills and experience working in a collaborative and consensus-driven environment Ability to build relationships with co-workers and customers located around the world Demonstrated ability to drive business outcomes through product changes What Gives You an Edge Experience building and supporting observability related cloud products or features Background in data streaming data lake or data warehouse platforms Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud services Come As You Are At Confluent equality is a core tenet of our culture We are committed to building an inclusive global team that represents a variety of backgrounds perspectives beliefs and experiences The more diverse we are the richer our community and the broader our impact Employment decisions are made on the basis of job-related criteria without regard to race color religion sex sexual orientation gender identity national origin disability veteran status or any other classification protected by applicable law Click to review our Candidate Privacy Notice which describes how and when Confluent Inc and its group companies collects uses and shares certain personal information of California job applicants and prospective employees LI-Remote
