Role Description We are seeking a motivated Cloud, DevOps & Application Development Intern to support the migration of our ECAT application services to Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), along with contributing to ongoing development activities in C#, Web API, and ReactJS. This internship offers a unique blend of cloud, DevOps, and full-stack development experience, providing exposure to both infrastructure modernization and feature development. Responsibilities - Containerize existing ECAT services using Docker. - Develop and maintain Kubernetes manifests/Helm charts for service deployment. - Configure service discovery, networking, and security within AWS EKS. - Assist in building CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and testing. - Optimize resource allocation and scaling for migrated services. - Implement monitoring, logging, and tracing using AWS tools and OpenTelemetry. - Support ECAT development activities in C#, Web API, and ReactJS. - Document migration steps and create playbooks for future enhancements. - A fully functional, scalable, and secure deployment of the ECAT application on AWS EKS. - Contributions to C#, Web API, and ReactJS development within ECAT. - Well-documented migration guides and playbooks for future use. Basic Qualifications & Experience - Hands-on experience with Kubernetes & AWS EKS. - Practical knowledge of Docker containerization. - Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Helm, Terraform, AWS CDK). - Experience with AWS cloud networking, IAM, and security best practices. - Real-world exposure to application monitoring and distributed tracing. - Hands-on C# and ReactJS development experience. - End-to-end understanding of modern DevOps and full-stack development practices.
