About his Role:
Spiceworks Ziff Davis is looking for a Product Manager with strong technical acumen who can help us deliver best-in-class reporting for internal stakeholders and external clients.
In this role, you will be responsible for building reporting pipelines and interfaces engaging with Sales, Client Services, and Marketing teams to prioritize business critical reporting enhancements and getting under the hood and writing technical requirements for front-end and back-end data engineering teams.
Who You Are:
An experienced Technical Product Manager who can fluidly transition between scoping client facing products and diving into API's and data tables. You know how to find the most impactful features amidst a full backlog and frequent client requests. You are comfortable and equipped to write technical requirements using API documentation, understanding the foundations of SQL, and helping data engineers solution outcomes. You understand how reporting is more than just numbers on a page and you can translate raw numbers in APIs and tables into insights that can be used for intelligent decision making. You have strong experience in delivering reports across one or more BI or reporting tools
Job Responsibilities:

- Create product roadmap for new reports and enhancing existing reports that can be utilized for results and insights by internal client facing teams and external clients.
- Fluidly transition between in depth technical solutioning and high level discovery with clients, sales teams, and client services teams.
- Act as a subject matter expert for the product, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the design and development of reporting products and the pipelines that feed them.
- Support an agile team - collaborate and lead front-end and back-end engineering teams by communicating requirements, prioritizing and delivering new features, and removing roadblocks.
- Drive innovation and evolution of Spiceworks Ziff Davis reporting products by conducting interviews, analyzing market trends and competitor offerings.
- Understand complex data dependencies across datasets
- Work with BI and engineering to clarify, triage, and prioritize bugs.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 5+ years of product management experience
- Experience with the use of APIs and data tables to deliver products that are consumed by a non-technical end user
- Experience working with client facing teams, understanding their needs, & scoping and prioritizing features that drive the most value to clients and the business.
- Experience working with cross-functional agile teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge and passion for emerging AI technologies preferred.
- Minimum 3+ years knowledge of SQL required
- Experience working with Sisense reporting is preferred
- Experience with Tableau preferred.
- Experience with marketing insights, marketers, or marketing agencies preferred.
- Must be willing to work flexible evening hours to accommodate varying time zones
- Ability to work remotely and independently
