We are looking for candidates with relevant of hands-on experience in Routing/switching and Security, along with a solid understanding of network automation tools and frameworks. The ideal candidate should be capable of designing, implementing, and optimizing automated network solutions to enhance operational efficiency and reliability. Responsibilities .Demonstrated hands-on expertise in managing and troubleshooting multi-vendor routers, switches, and firewalls. .In-depth knowledge & good hands-on expertise (but not limited) of networking protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and SD-WAN. .Strong understanding of Linux bridge architecture and its networking implications. .Experience in developing, testing, and validating network automation playbooks, with a focus on identifying gaps and expanding automation coverage. .Ownership of end-to-end automation solutions, including design, delivery, and test case execution. .Responsible for creating business cases, high-level design (HLD), low-level design (LLD), and comprehensive solution design documentation. .Well-versed in firewall configurations, VPN technologies, and implementation of security best practices. .Assist in compliance audits and ensure adherence to industry best practices. .Participate in Lean/Six Sigma projects to improve efficiency. .Perform L3-level network support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution & should be willing to work in shifts as and when required. .Assist in configuring and managing network devices to ensure optimized performance. .Develop and maintain automation scripts for network provisioning and configuration management. .Implement and support Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP) processes for network devices. .Monitor network health, detect anomalies, and assist in automation-driven remediation. .Configure and install network hardware and software (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls). .Ensure network security and compliance with organizational policies. .Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and procedures. .Excellent in customer calls/Meeting/escalation handling & delivery for 24/7 IT operations, able to work on pressure. .Good communication Skills Qualifications .Bachelor's degree or certification from an accredited institution in technology with more then 15years of experience or equivalent training Preferred qualifications .Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent. .Experience in network operations or automation. .Solid understanding of routing & switching concepts. .Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. .Excellent communication skills and strong customer service skills Why join Genpact .Lead AI-first transformation - Build and scale AI solutions that redefine industries .Make an impact - Drive change for global enterprises and solve business challenges that matter .Accelerate your career-Gain hands-on experience, world-class training, mentorship, and AI certifications to advance your skills .Grow with the best - Learn from top engineers, data scientists, and AI experts in a dynamic, fast-moving workplace .Committed to ethical AI - Work in an environment where governance, transparency, and security are at the core of everything we build .Thrive in a values-driven culture - Our courage, curiosity, and incisiveness - built on a foundation of integrity and inclusion - allow your ideas to fuel progress Come join the 140,000+ coders, tech shapers, and growth makers at Genpact and take your career in the only direction that matters: Up.
