Architecture Senior Analyst

The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities Responsibilities Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies time and cost estimates IT planning risk technology applications development model development and establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis design construction testing and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems issues provide evaluation of business process system process and industry standards and make evaluative judgement Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality Consult with users clients and other technology groups on issues recommend advanced programming solutions and install and assist customer exposure systems Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and or other team members Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made demonstrating particular consideration for the firm s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup its clients and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws rules and regulations adhering to Policy applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior conduct and business practices and escalating managing and reporting control issues with transparency Background Data Engineering and architecture team is looking to hire Senior Lead Technical Skill Sets 6 Financial Industry Experience 7 10 Years of industry Experience Responsibilities Able to make changes to the existing Data Model Logical Physical Implement Changes build deployment packages and promote them to higher environments UAT Production and Cob following SDLC Excellent understanding on Database concepts including Procedures Triggers Packages Database Constraints Indexes using Oracle 19c 23c Goldengate Lightspeed using anisible ROD Release on demand OTR one touch resiliency RHEL8 upgrade experience with Rubrik backup Should be able to help in finding current issues and provide solutions to improve performance Working knowledge of Linux Redhat File System Cluster Management and Oracle ASMC and ACFS System analysis and design skill with knowledge of data flow diagrams data dictionary techniques case tools Entity relation Modeling design Technique etc Database Design Skill including normalization theory STAR Schema Design and Data Modeling tool with proven experience of Process Data flow and forward reverse engineering of logical physical RDBMS layout Change Control Management Skills using Source Control System 8 year of experience of working in a team that delivers a high availability service Ensure weekend activities complete successfully through assignment coordination oversight and validation This may require weekend work Experience with Oracle Golden Gate 19c 23c implementation and support will be an added advantage Along with above technical requirements candidate will get opportunities to work with existing team Analyzes system application architecture ensures that architecture conforms to enterprise blueprints Evaluates and tests potential IT architecture solutions to ensure they meet user needs and requirements Creates and produces moderately complex IT architecture designs to translate user requirements to solutions Researches and produces standards documents Researches future industry trends acts as resource for development staff regarding the use of new technologies Applies hardware engineering and software design theories and principles in researching designing and developing product hardware and software interfaces Translates complex business problems into sound technical solutions Exhibits sound understanding of concepts and principles in architecture and basic knowledge of these elements in other areas Requires in-depth understanding of how the area integrates within architecture and has basic commercial awareness Trains and mentors junior team members Uses evaluative judgment based on the analysis of factual information in complicated or novel situations uses multiple sources of information Has direct impact to the architecture area by ensuring the quality of the tasks services information provided by self and others Exhibits sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills to exchange complex information Performs other environment Rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities Excellent communication including listening skills leadership problem solving and analytical skills Ability to elicit
