Sr SMT Engineer Forming the Soul of Every Connection Job Description Responsibilities/: New Product Introduction NPI/: Lead the speedy and effective transfer of new products to the SMT line, including developing all required machine programs, designing appropriate panelization, and establishing golden reflow profiles. Tooling and Fixturing/: Design and buy specialized tooling, fixtures, and trays to maximize component handling and placement precision. Component Libraries/: Manage and maintain the accuracy and integrity of the SMT machine component libraries and databases. Equipment Management/: Define technical standards for new SMT equipment acquisitions and manage vendor contacts for specialist technical assistance. Soft Skills/: Strong knowledge of solder paste chemistry, flux, and component packaging. Proficient in using AOI, SPI, and X/-ray inspection equipment. Deep understanding of IPC standards.
