Experienced USA Truck Dispatcher

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Truck Dispatcher with a strong understanding of the U.S. freight market to manage daily operations for carriers and owner-operators remotely. The ideal candidate should have proven expertise in load booking, driver coordination, negotiation with brokers, and ensuring high efficiency in routing and documentation. This is a remote position and requires working in U.S. time zones. Prior experience in dispatching dry vans, reefers, flatbeds, or box trucks is essential.Key Responsibilities:1. Load Booking & Negotiation Search and book freight loads via load boards such as DAT, TruckStop, or direct broker contacts. Negotiate best possible rates with brokers and shippers. Ensure high-profit margins for carriers by choosing optimized routes and load schedules. 2. Carrier & Driver Coordination Assign and dispatch loads to drivers across different U.S. regions. Monitor load status from pickup to delivery and update stakeholders. Communicate with drivers regularly to manage delays, breakdowns, or reroutes. 3. Documentation & Compliance Maintain up-to-date records including rate confirmations, BOLs, PODs, and driver logs. Ensure all dispatch activities are compliant with DOT and FMCSA regulations. Assist with factoring paperwork or invoicing as needed. 4. Route Optimization & Efficiency Plan multi-stop or long-distance routes to reduce empty miles and increase fleet efficiency. Track fuel consumption, driver hours, and HOS (Hours of Service) compliance. Use GPS tracking tools or dispatch software for real-time updates. 5. Customer & Broker Relationship Management Maintain professional relationships with brokers, shippers, and logistics contacts. Provide timely updates to clients and resolve service-related issues.
