- Prepare and lodge annual tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts in accordance with statutory regulations. - Draft and manage client correspondence related to tax queries and documentation follow-ups. - Develop detailed workpapers referencing tax returns, trial balances, and financial support documents. - Review and reconcile client accounting data in Xero, MYOB, and Excel, ensuring data integrity and compliance. - Prepare special purpose financial statements for companies, trusts, and partnerships. - Manage bookkeeping functions, including bank reconciliations, journal entries, and invoice processing. - Administer weekly payroll processing through Xero with accuracy and confidentiality. - Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS) in compliance with regulatory timelines. - Assist in family trust distribution calculations, income tax estimates, and related compliance tasks. - Support business advisory projects involving GST, CGT, FBT, and Division 7A matters. - Maintain organized and compliant financial records for audit and review purposes.
