Your Day With Equisoft - Review specifications to ensure full understanding of deliverables - Understand and identify test requirements from specifications or verbal communications - Develop, document and maintain clear and concise functional test plans and test cases - Walkthrough test cases/scenarios with project BA/Client to receive the feedback and sign-off. - Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results - Ensure deliverables meet specifications and requirements - Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes - Liaison with development, project management, and customer on quality and project scope and deliverables - Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and communicate through appropriate channels - Participate in key ceremonies throughout the project lifecycle - Collaborate in an Agile environment along with a dynamic team composed of software developers, architects, and project managers - Take ownership of Quality at every stage of the delivery process Requirements Technical - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Information Technology or College Diploma combined to 3 years of relevant experience - 4+ years of experience in a similar position - Knowledge in OIPA application flow is an asset - Experience with Quality Assurance processes - Knowledge of relational databases and basic knowledge of DB queries - Excellent knowledge of English (spoken and written) Soft Skills - Strong sense of organization and prioritizing - Analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to communicate, write and synthesize information - Ability to multi-task in a rapid-paced environment - Team spirit, tact, diplomacy, autonomy, rigor, and discipline Nice To Haves - Knowledge of financial and/or insurance industries is a strong asset Equisoft is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
