a Supply Chain Consultant at Coupa The impact of a Supply Chain consultant at Coupa is centered on driving significant measurable improvements for diverse clients by designing and implementing sophisticated supply chain strategies using Coupa LLamasoft software Utilizing expertise in operations research and data analysis you will build and analyze solutions that enable companies worldwide to better understand their networks and make data-driven decisions This role is a chance to bring your passion for solving complex supply chain problems to a fast-growing innovative team positively impacting as many lives as possible through efficient operations and cutting-edge solutions What You ll Do Design and deliver supply chain strategies using Coupa LLamasoft Software such as Supply Chain Modeler Supply Chain Guru Data Guru and Demand Guru Operate in a customer-centric project environment focused on delivering value and supporting ongoing customer relationships Enable customers to successfully utilize LLamasoft software through coaching and training o Understand key client performance levers on-time delivery cost feasibility etc and strategies to improve these metrics Support project quality by identifying risks that impact project scope timing or cost Provide both creative and structured analysis to identify performance improvement opportunities and effectively communicate findings with clients Manage review and validate large sets of data in order to build and validate models run scenarios and assist in the preparation of client presentations Fully document agencies and our nation s military What you will bring to Coupa Supply Chain Exposure Has about 2-3 years of experience Background in industrial engineering operations research supply chain management or a related field Bachelor s Degree with experience required Master s Degree preferred Experience in or knowledge of supply chain planning and design Familiarity with supply chain concepts such as planning forecasting transportation inventory management and strategic sourcing Technical Competence Ability to learn quickly and apply complex technical skills Experience working with data and database software Awareness and knowledge of the principles of optimization with the ability to use software packages to optimize and analyze outputs Experience with programming a plus but not required Experience with simulation or vehicle routing software a plus but not required Client Communication Prioritizes developing and maintaining both customer and internal relationships Ability to communicate across multiple levels of project team both internally and externally Ability to facilitate discussions and training sessions in large group or classroom settings Ability to develop visual
