Job Description Position: Architectural / Interior Draftsperson Role Overview: Responsible for preparing detailed architectural and interior drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design intent, building codes, and client requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare working drawings, plans, elevations, sections, and details. - Convert conceptual sketches and ideas into technical CAD drawings. - Coordinate with architects, interior designers, engineers, and contractors. - Ensure drawings are accurate, updated, and compliant with industry standards. - Assist in material schedules, BOQs, and documentation. Skills Required: - Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential). - Knowledge of drafting standards and construction practices. - Attention to detail and accuracy. - Strong organizational and time management skills. Qualifications Required: - Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field. - 1-2 years of experience in architectural or interior drafting. - Strong knowledge of AutoCAD; experience with SketchUp, Revit, or other 3D visualization tools is an advantage. - Understanding of building codes, materials, and construction methods. - Ability to interpret design concepts and translate them into precise technical drawings. - Experience in preparing BOQs, working drawings, and documentation. - Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
