Job Title: Shopify DeveloperPosition Overview: We are seeking a skilled and creative Shopify Developer to join our team and help build, customize, and optimize Shopify-based eCommerce websites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing responsive and high-performing Shopify stores, integrating third-party apps, ensuring smooth functionality, and delivering exceptional user experiences aligned with brand and business goals. This role requires a strong understanding of front-end and back-end web development, Shopify’s Liquid templating language, and familiarity with modern web technologies and eCommerce best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain responsive Shopify stores with pixel-perfect UI and optimized UX. - Customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON. - Integrate third-party apps and APIs to enhance site functionality (payment gateways, CRMs, analytics tools, etc.). - Collaborate with designers and marketing teams to implement new features, campaigns, and landing pages. - Troubleshoot and debug issues related to Shopify stores and ensure smooth, error-free performance. - Optimize website speed, SEO, and conversion rates for better performance and customer engagement. - Manage Shopify Plus, custom checkout experiences, and multi-store setups (if applicable). - Stay updated with Shopify updates, trends, and ecosystem developments to ensure continuous improvement. Requirements: - Proven experience as a Shopify Developer (2–4 years) with a strong portfolio of live eCommerce sites. - Proficiency in Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and JSON. - Familiarity with Shopify APIs, app integrations, and custom app development. - Strong knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility. - Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows. - Basic understanding of SEO principles, Google Analytics, and site optimization. - Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Shopify Plus or headless Shopify architecture. - Familiarity with React.js, Next.js, or Vue.js for advanced front-end integration. - Experience with liquid-based automation and Shopify CLI. - Prior work in an agency or D2C brand environment.
