We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with a strong background in routing, switching, multicast, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient, quick to grasp new technologies, and demonstrate a deep understanding of both traditional and modern networking environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Independently manage and troubleshoot complex network issues.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging networking technologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and service providers to ensure optimal network performance.
- Manage multiple network projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and prioritization.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

Technical Requirements

Core Networking Skills:

- Strong understanding of routing protocols and network tools:
- TCP/IP, Multicast (PIM, IGMP, MSDP, GRE, MP-BGP), BGP, EIGRP
- DNS, DHCP, SNMP, HTTP/HTTPS, SMTP
- LAN Switching, Router/Switch architectures
- Real-time and multicast network traffic handling
- Expertise with tools like Wireshark

Cloud & Automation:

- Broader understanding of AWS and Azure networking
- Familiarity with network automation tools:
- Python, Perl, or other scripting languages
- Ansible, Salt, or other orchestration tools
- Use of REST APIs, YAML, JSON

Desirable Skills

- Experience with the following technologies is a plus:
- Optical Networking, Load Balancers, SAN, Wireless Networks
- Network OS: IOS, IOS-XE, JunOS, EOS, F5/tmsh
- NSX, Infoblox, Linux
- Deep understanding of WAN/LAN architectures and data center networking
- Insight into how modern applications, compute, and storage influence network design

Soft Skills

- Strong oral and written communication
- Team collaboration and stakeholder engagement
- Effective prioritization and multitasking in a dynamic environment
