Job Description: We are seeking a Jr. graphic designer to join our team. You will be designing a wide variety of things across digital and offline media. To be successful in this position, you'll be a self-starter, capable of delivering brilliant creative ideas, and showing amazing attention to detail. What we expect from the candidate: - Ability to translate ideas, and mock-ups into visually engaging creatives. - Knowledge of design principles such as composition, color theory, typography, and visual hierarchy. - Experience with branding projects and presentations. - Experience with marketing campaigns, e-mailers, and social media communication. - Commanding skills in graphic design tools like Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop. - Understanding of motion graphics & basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects will be looked at as an added advantage. Roles and Responsibilities: - Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials. - Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size, and style and submitting them for approval. - Coordinating with outside agencies, art services, web designers, marketing, printers, and colleagues as necessary. - Contributing with the marketing and sales team to create necessary graphics for various social media campaigns and presentations. - Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites. - Develop illustrations, logos & other designs using the software. - Work with copywriters and creative team to produce the final design - Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing. - Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary. Competencies: - Creativity: Ability to come up with creative, innovative and out of box ideas. Having a visual eye no matter what medium you work in. - Communication Skills: Strong listening, speaking, and writing abilities. Should express ideas confidently, understand company needs, and hold engaging, professional conversations. - Technical Knowledge: Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, - Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat). Knowledge of video editing / HTML email design skills is an added advantage. - Attention to detail: Ability to maintain high accuracy and thoroughness when executing tasks and avoiding copyright infringement. - Time Management: Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines. - Organisational skills: Ability to use given resources efficiently and effectively, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Enthusiasm: Exhibits passion and excitement over work. Has a can-do attitude. Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
