We are looking for a skilled and passionate Commis 1 - South Indian Cuisine to join our culinary team The candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of authentic South Indian dishes such as dosas idlis vadas sambhar and chutneys while maintaining quality hygiene and timely service standards Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook South Indian breakfast and main course items such as dosa idli vada uttapam sambhar rasam and various chutneys Assist in daily mise-en-place and ingredient preparation for South Indian section Maintain consistency in taste quality and presentation of all dishes Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of workstation and kitchen equipment Follow recipes portion control guidelines and plating standards Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and service staff Comply with food safety hygiene and sanitation standards HACCP Report any shortages spoilage or maintenance issues to Chef de Partie Support other kitchen sections when required Requirements 2-4 years of experience in a professional kitchen with a focus on South Indian cuisine Good knowledge of traditional South Indian ingredients spices and cooking techniques Culinary diploma or relevant training preferred Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks Team player with good communication and time-management skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in hotel breakfast kitchens or South Indian specialty restaurants Food safety certification preferred but not mandatory Working Conditions Must be able to work early morning shifts especially for breakfast service Physically demanding role - standing for long periods and lifting heavy pots Work during weekends and holidays as required Job Type Full-time Pay 20 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Provident Fund Work Location In person
