Job Description About As a Staff Frontend Engineer at Kula, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex web applications using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frontend stacks. This position requires a strong understanding of frontend engineering principles, including component-driven architecture and state management. This role will be a key contributor to the Kula team, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and deliver high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building scalable and maintainable frontend systems, with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies. Skills & Qualification - Expertise in React with a deep understanding of component-driven architecture and state management, allowing for the creation of complex and scalable web applications. - Proficiency in SPA Frameworks and modern frontend patterns, ensuring seamless integration with backend services and optimal user experience. - Advanced JavaScript & TypeScript skills with hands-on experience in ES6+ and TypeScript, enabling efficient and effective code development. - Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, SASS, and responsive web design, ensuring visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. - Experience in frontend performance optimization, including browser APIs & web standards, and build tools familiarity, resulting in fast and reliable web applications. - Prior experience at a startup, providing a unique understanding of the importance of agility, adaptability, and innovation in a fast-paced environment. - 10+ years of experience building complex web applications, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software products. Responsibilities - Design and develop complex web applications using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frontend stacks, ensuring seamless integration with backend services and optimal user experience. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and deliver high-quality software products, with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and performance. - Develop and maintain a deep understanding of frontend engineering principles, including component-driven architecture and state management, to ensure the creation of complex and scalable web applications. - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies, including SPA Frameworks, modern frontend patterns, and browser APIs & web standards, to ensure the development of cutting-edge web applications. - Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure the quality and maintainability of frontend codebases. - Develop and maintain a strong understanding of frontend performance optimization techniques, including build tools familiarity and browser APIs & web standards, to ensure the development of fast and reliable web applications. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team. - Contribute to the development of technical strategies and roadmaps, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
