KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
It is expected that the incumbent, during the course of his (her) work, will need to deliver the following:
. Develop & Deliver product solutions based on scientific understanding of formulation principles as needed by the business, articulated as an outcome of Project teamwork.
. Carry out lab and pilot plant trials along with stability studies and support processes to manufacture product solution developed at commercial end.
. Collect, interpret, and document data from experiments, ensuring accuracy and reproducibility, risk assessment and mitigation.
. Candidate is expected to use appropriate literature / patent / competition / supplier searches related to the projects, collaborate for project related deliveries with respect to Claims, Consumer studies, Legal, Regulatory etc.
. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation of research findings Communicate and work closely with global team to incorporate new technologies into product
. He/ She will leverage digital tools to minimize experiments, maximize output & speed up program delivery
. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines in all R&D activities.
. Represents R&D function in Project Network Meetings and track all R&D deliverables on time in full.
. Support TPL for executing projects in line with best practices and managing stakeholder expectations by providing regular feedback on project progress.
. Supports the Team in product savings activities mainly alternate vendor (or 3P) development process including RM Specification Evaluation, understanding the RM Synthesis pathway and overall qualification and documentation.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
. Minimum 2 years Industrial Formulation Experience (Preferably FMCG)
. B Tech/ M Tech in Chemical Engineering or cosmetic technology/
Post Graduate with knowledge of chemistry (preferably Pharmacy/Chemistry)
. Good Verbal/written Communication skills
. Good understanding of Product Development Principles, DOEs, related R & D Processes and Protocols
. Ability to work independently with Innovation Project Team and represent Functional Team.
. Good Understanding of Project Management Principles
. Good documentation skills and effectively tracking and traceability of documents
. Is an active learner, Team player, Collaborator, Agile, Flexible Focused on delivery and Multitasking skill
. Good People Management Skills, Good MS Office Skills, Good digital skills
. Travelling: 10-20%
