Job Description Product-based MNC in Bangalore Embedded Engineer- Testing: Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and tools tailored for embedded video and camera system validation. Execute functional, regression, and performance testing on embedded hardware platforms running video capture and processing firmware/software. Collaborate closely with embedded software, firmware, and hardware teams to verify camera system functionality and video tuning parameters at the device level. Analyze embedded system logs, debug failures, and troubleshoot hardware-software integration issues. Enhance and maintain embedded test frameworks, integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for embedded firmware releases. Document test cases, generate detailed test reports, and maintain traceability of embedded system requirements. Required Skills: 6+ years of experience in QA Automation or SDET roles with a focus on embedded systems. Hands on Hardware tools and debugging is Must Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar for automation in embedded environments. Flexible to work in cross over Geographical location Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Pytest, Robot Framework, or custom embedded test frameworks). Hands-on experience working with embedded operating systems or Linux, and familiarity with SoC-based architectures. Experience with on-device testing and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test setups is highly desirable. Good to Have: Strong knowledge of video processing, image quality tuning, and camera system validation on embedded platforms. Ability to interpret and analyze logs from embedded camera/video systems to evaluate performance and quality. Detail-oriented with a passion for quality and embedded system reliability.
