Job Description

The SAP ABAP + OData + EDI role is crucial to our organization as it involves developing, implementing, and supporting SAP applications and integrations using ABAP, OData, and EDI technologies. The incumbent will play a key role in enhancing our SAP systems and ensuring seamless data exchange with external partners.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP programming language
- Implement and enhance OData services for data retrieval and manipulation
- Configure and provide support for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) interfaces
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions
- Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality and stability of developed programs
- Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and performance tuning activities
- Document technical designs, development, and system configurations
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP-related issues
- Conduct code reviews and provide guidance to junior team members
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and industry trends

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum of X years of experience in SAP ABAP development
- Hands-on experience in developing OData services within SAP environment
- Strong expertise in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) concepts and implementations
- Proficiency in SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI, and/or CO
- Experience with SAP integration technologies and tools
- Excellent programming skills in ABAP, SQL, and Java
- Ability to analyze complex business processes and requirements
- Strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities
- Good understanding of SAP architecture and data models
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- SAP certification(s) is a plus
- Experience in Agile development methodologies is desirable
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori and UI5 is a plus
