Position Summary: We are seeking responsible, detail-oriented, and efficient female candidates for the role of Packing Executive in our garment manufacturing unit. The selected candidate will be responsible for inspecting garments, packing them neatly and accurately, and assisting with inventory management, purchase tracking, and material verification. This role involves both manual packing tasks and basic record-keeping and is critical for ensuring quality and accuracy in the final stage before shipment. Candidates must be organized, focused, and reliable, with the ability to perform physical tasks and basic administrative duties.Key Responsibilities:1. Garment Packing: Inspect finished garments for defects, loose threads, or quality issues before packing. Fold, tag, and pack garments neatly as per company standards and customer specifications. Ensure correct labeling and size tagging on each item and box. Pack orders in the correct quantity and style based on the packing list or customer order. 2. Quality Control & Checking: Perform visual quality checks to ensure garments meet required standards (finishing, stitching, color, size). Identify and separate defective pieces for rework or rejection. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the packing area. 3. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of finished and packed garments in physical logs or inventory software. Assist in updating stock registers with daily production and packing counts. Monitor packaging material stock levels (boxes, tags, polybags) and inform supervisors for replenishment. 4. Material Verification: Cross-check materials received (fabrics, threads, trims, accessories) with corresponding purchase orders and invoices. Report any mismatch in quantity, damage, or quality issues to the supervisor. Organize and store materials in designated areas with proper labeling. 5. Purchase Order Support: Assist in the preparation of purchase orders for raw materials or packing supplies as instructed by the production manager or purchase department. Keep copies of PO records and delivery notes organized for reference. 6. Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and maintain daily and monthly consumption reports for packaging material and other consumables. Help generate simple reports of items packed, rejected, returned, or held for inspection. Maintain file records of dispatch, packing slips, and delivery challans. 7. Factory/Production Support: Support production activities as needed during non-peak packing hours. Maintain good coordination with production, quality, and dispatch teams.
