Job Title Librarian Location Birla Open Minds International School Warangal About Us Birla Open Minds International School Warangal is dedicated to nurturing a love for learning through a balanced blend of academic excellence and holistic development Since 2018 we have created an environment where curiosity creativity and knowledge are celebrated Our library serves as a cornerstone of intellectual growth providing students and faculty with resources that inspire critical thinking research and lifelong learning Position Overview We are looking for a dedicated and resourceful Librarian who will manage our school library and foster a reading culture among students The ideal candidate should have a passion for books strong documentation skills knowledge of modern library systems and the ability to guide students in research information literacy and responsible reading habits Key Responsibilities Manage daily operations of the school library including cataloging shelving issuing and returning books Maintain clear and organized documentation of library activities inventory issue records and digital resource usage Curate and maintain a diverse and age-appropriate collection of books digital resources and reference materials Promote reading habits and a love for literature through storytelling sessions book fairs reading clubs and library-based activities Guide students in locating and using resources for academic and personal growth encouraging independent learning and research skills Implement and manage library management software ensuring data accuracy and timely updates Assist teachers in integrating library resources into classroom teaching and project-based learning Maintain a quiet organized and inclusive environment conducive to reading and learning Develop students information literacy skills including proper research techniques and referencing methods Encourage the ethical use of information and raise awareness against plagiarism Qualifications and Skills Educational Background Bachelor s or Master s degree in Library Science B Lib M Lib or a related field Experience 2-3 years of relevant experience in a school or educational institution preferred Strong documentation and record-keeping skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English Proficient in library management systems and digital cataloging tools Ability to organize events and programs that promote reading and intellectual curiosity Patience approachability and a genuine interest in working with students of different age groups Salary Range NEGOTIABLE If you are passionate about books learning and creating a dynamic reading environment for students we invite you to be a part of our dedicated team at Birla Open Minds International School Warangal Job Type Full-time Pay From 18 000 00 per month Schedule Day shift Ability to commute relocate g Warangal - 506005 Telangana Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Required Experience total work 2 years Required Application Deadline 16 05 2025 Expected Start Date 01 06 2025
