THE ROLE At Papas we believe that a great dining experience isnt just about foodxe2x80x94its about the entire experience from the first sip to the last bite As an Assistant Bartender you will be an essential part of delivering exceptional service high-quality beverages and an overall unforgettable atmosphere for our guests Your role will involve working closely with the Senior Bartender and the rest of the bar team to ensure that the service is smooth efficient and always leaves a lasting impression This role is based at Papa s in Bandra West and reports directly to the Senior Bartender Youll play an integral part in maintaining the high standards of service that make Papas a standout destination for guests seeking an elevated and adventurous experience in Indian cuisine and drinks Papas which launched in February 2024 has quickly made a name for itself by reimagining the rules of Indian cuisine and fine dining From the moment guests step into Papas theyll experience bold flavors modern interpretations and a lively ambiance Its a space where creativity flows as freely as the drinksxe2x80x94and youll be right in the middle of it WHO YOU ARE You are passionate about hospitality and beverages with a natural ability to engage with guests and make them feel welcome You have prior experience in a bar setting with a solid understanding of basic bar operations and mixology Your excellent communication skills help you connect with guests ensuring their needs are met with warmth and professionalism You thrive under pressure staying calm and focused even during peak service times all while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization You are someone who enjoys working as part of a team is quick to learn new drink recipes and takes pride in delivering top-notch service Whether youre prepping for service assisting during busy periods or restocking inventory you approach every task with a positive can-do attitude YOUR TEAM As an Assistant Bartender youll be a key part of the Papas bar team working closely with the Senior Bartender and collaborating with servers and the kitchen to ensure smooth service Papas is a fast-paced environment and youll be expected to contribute to its dynamic energy all while keeping the focus on providing the best possible guest experience WHO YOU WILL REPORT TO You will report directly to the Senior Bartender working under their guidance to ensure that all bar operations run seamlessly and efficiently YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FORBar Preparation Assist in preparing the bar area before service ensuring that all supplies ingredients and tools are ready for use Cleanliness Organization Maintain a clean organized and sanitized bar area in accordance with health and safety standards Inventory Management Monitor bar stock levels restock supplies as needed and inform the Senior Bartender or Manager when inventory is low Guest Service Assist in taking orders serving drinks and ensuring timely attentive service to guests during busy periods Collaboration Work alongside other bar staff servers and kitchen teams to create a seamless service experience Knowledge Development Stay updated on drink recipes mixology trends and enhance your knowledge of beverages to improve service SKILLS EXPERIENCE REQUIREDPrevious Experience Some experience in a bar setting is preferred especially with point of sale POS systems Communication Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills Pressure Handling Ability to work efficiently under pressure especially during high-volume service times Guest-Focused Strong attention to guest needs ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction at all times Teamwork Able to work well with colleagues and contribute to a collaborative positive environment Adaptability Flexibility to adjust to the fast-paced nature of a busy restaurant and bar WHAT YOULL GETExposure to Industry Standards Work in one of Mumbais most exciting new restaurants delivering an elevated experience to guests Creative Team Be part of a talented team thats redefining the boundaries of Indian cuisine and hospitality Growth Opportunities Learn and develop new skills in mixology and bar service with potential for career growth in a fast-growing company Supportive Environment Work alongside experienced bartenders and staff in a collaborative environment where everyones contributions are valued If you re ready to be part of an exciting new venture and grow within a supportive dynamic team wed love to hear from you Come help us create unforgettable moments for our guests at Papas Requirements Hunger Inc Hospitality
