is aligned to the overall business strategy Ensure cross functional collaboration to deliver on strategy and key tactics This role position is part of BMS India Leadership Team the Operating Committee and will ensure all commercial sales and marketing activities meet the compliance and ethical standards set forth by the company This role will report directly into the General Manager Managing Director of BMS India Commercialization Operations based in Mumbai Key responsibilities Oversee and supervise Sales and Marketing team Develop and implement cardiovascular business strategy and translate strategy into actions to create competitive advantage in the marketplace Analyze and translate trends threats and opportunities in the marketplace in terms of short-term long-term business implications Prepare forecast and P L analysis of cardiovascular products to support the development of the local strategy Allocate resources across the business unit to maximize sales market share and business objectives Work closely with medical team to develop strategies and programs that support the needs of the business Collaborate with the key account public market and market access to maximize opportunities in the key account business Collaborate with leadership on pricing recommendations patient access programs approvals and execution Initiate build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders customers e g HCPs Distributors as applicable Provide inputs into Regulatory and market access strategies to ensure consistent and innovative approach Champion annual brand planning to optimize sales market shares and profit margin Track local economic market and industry trends and use appropriate information to maximize opportunities and minimize risk exposure Relentlessly maintain and develop a compelling culture of compliance Demonstrate business ethics and judgment to enforce internal controls to comply with the laws regulations and BMS standards of business conduct and ethics Qualifications Bachelors Degree or Higher in Science Technology Post Grade Qualification in Management Languages Strong command of English and Hindi required both written and spoken Experience and Knowledge 15 years of pharmaceutical industry experience within competitive therapeutic field cardiovascular experience w innovative first in class products will be preferred 3-5 years experience of leading a sizable business w growing and profitable P L responsibility w proven success of launch excellence Career with well documented P L results 5 Years leadership experience exposure w mid-sized teams w direct indirect reports Demonstrated expertise in core marketing principles and experience of developing and implementing innovative strategic and tactical marketing plans that led to breakthrough business results Demonstrated solid experience of sales leadership sales management sales force effectiveness and efficiency Demonstrated track record of success in launching and commercializing highly visible strategic product s with high integrity while focusing on execution In-depth understanding of local issues relative to the pharmaceutical industry healthcare environment and competitive forces cardiovascular Exceptional candor in communicating and presenting to senior management with the ability to influence decisions Experience in effectively direct management and development of a specialized team of professionals Ability to lead collaborate w cross-functional teams Effective strong presentation skills with the ability to create energy and excitement Knowledge and understanding of pricing reimbursement regulatory affairs market access Expertise in financial principles and how to manage budgets control expenses and
