We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Tech Lead – PHP to lead full stack development, architect scalable solutions, and drive technical excellence across projects. If you're comfortable working across modern frameworks, eCommerce platforms, and complex integrations, we want to hear from you. About the Role As a Tech Lead, you’ll take ownership of backend architecture and development, guide a team of engineers, and deliver high-performance applications. You’ll work on integrations, custom solutions, and platforms like Magento, WordPress, and Shopify, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities - Lead backend development using Laravel and modern PHP frameworks - Architect scalable, secure, and maintainable systems - Manage system integrations via REST APIs, GraphQL, EDI, and third-party services - Oversee projects involving Magento, WordPress, Shopify, and related stacks - Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and implement best practices - Collaborate with product, design, frontend, and DevOps teams for end-to-end delivery - Ensure performance optimization, code quality, and effective documentation Preferred Qualifications - 5-7 years of backend development experience in PHP, with deep expertise in Laravel - Experience working with Magento, WordPress, and Shopify - Strong background in system integrations using APIs (REST, GraphQL), EDI, and webhooks - Proficiency in: - PHP, Laravel, Java - ReactJS, Node.js - MySQL, NoSQL, MongoDB - CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and version control (Git) - Cloud platforms, especially AWS - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and excellent team collaboration skills - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to handle multiple clients. - Flexibility to work in a small company.
