Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Engineer - Indirect Sourcing to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and executing sourcing strategies for indirect materials and services, driving cost savings and supplier performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for indirect goods and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify sourcing needs and opportunities for cost savings.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and terms.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to make informed sourcing decisions.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Prepare and present sourcing proposals and updates to senior management.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- 6-9 years of experience in indirect sourcing or procurement.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in sourcing tools and software, including e-sourcing platforms.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
